I’m here in Taipei with my wife, Nevada and two beautiful children, Gemma & Guinness. We’ve moved here from Canada to follow God’s call on our lives. My role in our church began as a support to the Pearl’s founder and first pastor, Dan Chang. My main job was to add some creative elements into the mix, to help us do ministry outside-the-box and to help the Pearl with whatever it needs. Dan left in 2007 and Lydia Wu and I co-led the Pearl for the next two years. Lydia has recently moved on into a new season of ministry leaving me as the solo minister of this vibrant group. I love having the chance to push the boundaries of normal church and reaching out to all types of people that come to the Pearl. I’m looking forward to the next couple of years as we move into a new stage of maturity and ownership. God has put us all here for a reason and The Pearl will be used to do great things in Taipei.chrismckenzie@thepearlintaipei.com
